The Busy City of Colman is located just 2.5 miles west of Interstate 29 at Exit 109 and centrally located between the cities of Madison, Brookings, Sioux Falls (the largest city in the state), and Pipestone, MN.

The city's current population is about 600 friendly, helpful people.  The recent acquisition of 144 acres on the southeast corner of town will

soon be developed for residential property. Commercial lots are available on SD highway 34. 

Looney Days is the Annual Celebration (the second weekend of August) and is sponsored by local Jaycees.
